Week 03 – The FRAMES!

#CrazyFaithMove

Welcome to the end of week 03!! So, let me start off by saying that I was NOT expecting this much progress! I am literally, blown away by the amount of hard work that was put into our dream home in just one week!!!

Every Sunday, I love documenting everyone’s reaction via video. Today’s emotion was pure joy as I recorded our children’s excitement! Our eleven year old, A’Niyah was tearing up and if you know me well enough, you know I didn’t have a dry eye. Someone just pass me a box of tissue because I get teary eyed just talking about our experience today.

As we drove onto our street, I was shocked because the frames were up! Before I even stepped foot out of the van, I was balling! I just couldn’t believe it. I grabbed some tissue, wiped my face & stepped out the vehicle. As I stood in in front of our home, it hit me. I told my kids to give me a minute because I usually take their picture standing in front of the house. I stood there, in the middle of the street crying tears of GREAT joy! I tried to stop, but I couldn’t, so I just had to take that moment and soak it all up because building a home from the ground up is so huge! It was then that I felt such a sweet presence of God. This entire move was based off of pure FAITH! I was able to hear God clearly because of my relationship with Him. He told me to pray in our new neighborhood, so I obeyed. I didn’t know God had this incredible plan up His sleeve for my family!

After I gathered myself together, I was able to take our routine pictures.. red eyes and all. We walked onto our lot & it was breathtaking! We could actually see what our home is going to look like as we looked through room by room. We couldn’t go upstairs, but we could just look up and see our bedroom entryway, the laundry room entryway & a glimpse of some other rooms. Wow.. just wow!

We didn’t want the kids to enter the house, so we just took pictures of them in the mud room area because it wasn’t safe to enter the house. Jason & I went inside individually just because we wanted to make sure everything was up to par. Then my parents came through and I was able to walk through again with my dad. They were blown away!

Stay tuned to the end of week 4 next Sunday!
